เมื่อวันที่ 8 สิงหาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา ดร.จักกนิตต์ คณานุรักษ์ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายส่งเสริมการพัฒนากำลังคนดิจิทัล สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล (depa) เดินทางเข้าเยี่ยมชมวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ (CoC) และ PSU Esports Studio – Phuket มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต

ในการต้อนรับครั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจาก รศ.ดร.วโรดม วีระพันธ์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ พร้อมด้วยนายชนะชัย สิริพันธ์วราภรณ์ ผู้จัดการ PSU Esports Studio – Phuket

การเยี่ยมชมเริ่มต้นที่อาคาร CoC โดย รศ.ดร.วโรดม ได้ให้ข้อมูลและแนะนำสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกภายในอาคาร จากนั้นคณะได้เข้าสู่ ศูนย์เทคโนโลยีแอนิเมชั่นและมัลติมีเดีย (AMTEC) โดยมี นายพฤทธิ์ เกษตรสมบูรณ์ นักวิชาการคอมพิวเตอร์ เป็นผู้แนะนำ ต่อมา ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชม PSU Esports Studio – Phuket โดยมี นายชนะชัย นำเสนอวัตถุประสงค์การจัดตั้งศูนย์ฯ อธิบายถึงอุปกรณ์และเทคโนโลยีที่นำมาใช้ รวมทั้งให้ภาพรวมโครงการและกิจกรรมด้านอีสปอร์ตที่จัดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และสร้างประสบการณ์ให้กับนักศึกษาและผู้สนใจ

ดร.จักกนิตต์ ยังได้ทดลองใช้งานอุปกรณ์ภายในศูนย์ฯ อาทิ Cockpit และ PlayStation5 เพื่อสัมผัสประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้และการฝึกทักษะในบริบทของอีสปอร์ต พร้อมทั้งหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือในอนาคต

On August 8, 2025, Dr. Jakkanit Kananurak, Director of the Digital Manpower Development and Promotion Department at the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), visited the College of Computing (CoC) and PSU Esports Studio - Phuket, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus.

During the visit, they were welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Warodom Weerapun, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation at the College of Computing, along with Mr. Chanachai Siriphunwaraphon, Manager of PSU Esports Studio - Phuket.

The tour began at the CoC building, where Associate Professor Dr. Warodom provided information and an overview of the facilities. The group then proceeded to the Animation & Multimedia Technology Center (AMTEC) room, where Mr. Pruth Kasetsomboon, a Computer Technical Officer, presented an overview of the center’s operations. Following this, they visited PSU Esports Studio - Phuket, where Mr. Chanachai explained the objectives of establishing the studio, described the equipment and technologies in use, and provided an overview of ongoing esports projects and activities designed to enhance learning and provide hands-on experiences for students and enthusiasts.

Dr. Jakkanit also had the opportunity to try out the equipment at the studio, including the Cockpit and PlayStation 5, to experience esports-based learning and skill training, and discussed potential avenues for future collaboration.
