เมื่อวันที่ 15 กันยายน 2568 คณะนักศึกษาจาก Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Sojo University, Osaka Metropolitan University และ Shunan University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชม PSU Esports Studio - Phuket ณ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต

ในการต้อนรับครั้งนี้ นายชนะชัย สิริพันธ์วราภรณ์ ผู้จัดการ PSU Esports Studio - Phuket ได้กล่าวต้อนรับและบรรยายถึงวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดตั้งศูนย์ฯ พร้อมทั้งนำเสนอเทคโนโลยีและอุปกรณ์ด้านอีสปอร์ตที่มีภายในศูนย์ รวมถึงสรุปภาพรวมของโครงการและกิจกรรมที่ดำเนินมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

นอกจากนี้ คณะนักศึกษายังได้ทดลองใช้อุปกรณ์ต่าง ๆ เช่น VR, Cockpit และ PlayStation 5 เพื่อสัมผัสประสบการณ์จริงและเรียนรู้ทักษะด้านอีสปอร์ตอย่างใกล้ชิด

การเยี่ยมชมครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นภายใต้โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนระยะสั้น Data Analysis and Visualization Workshop ระหว่างวันที่ 15-19 กันยายน 2568 ซึ่งการเยี่ยมชมดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ Campus Tour ที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้มาเรียนรู้การใช้งานอุปกรณ์ภายในศูนย์อีสปอร์ตของมหาวิทยาลัย

On September 15, 2025, a group of students from Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Sojo University, Osaka Metropolitan University, and Shunan University, Japan, visited the PSU Esports Studio - Phuket at Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus.

During the welcome session, Mr. Chanachai Siriphunwaraphon, Manager of PSU Esports Studio - Phuket, delivered a welcome speech and explained the objectives behind the establishment of the studio. He also introduced the esports technologies and equipment available at the center, along with an overview of ongoing projects and activities.

In addition, the students had the opportunity to experience various equipment firsthand, including VR, Cockpit, and PlayStation 5, allowing them to gain practical exposure and learn esports-related skills up close.

This visit was part of the short-term exchange program Data Analysis and Visualization Workshop, held from September 15-19, 2025. The studio tour was organized as part of the Campus Tour, giving students the chance to explore and learn how to utilize the esports facilities at the university.
