เมื่อวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา นักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ถึง 6 พร้อมด้วยคณะครู รวมทั้งสิ้น 58 คน จากโรงเรียนนานาชาติโอ๊ค มีโดว์ จังหวัดภูเก็ต ได้เข้ารับฟังบรรยายหลักสูตรของวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ และเข้าเยี่ยมชม PSU Esports Studio - Phuket ณ วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต

ในโอกาสนี้ ดร.วศิมน พาณิชพัฒนกุล ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายงานรับนักศึกษาและกิจกรรมนานาชาติ ได้บรรยายหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอน และแนะแนวการศึกษาต่อของวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ จากนั้น นายชนะชัย สิริพันธ์วราภรณ์ ผู้จัดการ PSU Esports Studio - Phuket กล่าวต้อนรับและนำเสนอวัตถุประสงค์ของศูนย์ฯ รวมถึงแนะนำอุปกรณ์และเทคโนโลยีต่าง ๆ ที่มีอยู่ภายในศูนย์

นอกจากนี้ นักเรียนยังได้ร่วมสัมผัสประสบการณ์จริงผ่านการทดลองเล่นเกมใน Station ต่าง ๆ ของศูนย์ฯ อาทิ PlayStation 5 Station, Nintendo Switch Station, VR Station และ Cockpit Station ซึ่งช่วยเปิดโลกทัศน์และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับผู้ที่สนใจในวงการอีสปอร์ตและเทคโนโลยีเกมในอนาคต

On May 1, 2025, a group of 58 students from grades 9 to 12, along with their teachers from Oak Meadow International School in Phuket, visited the College of Computing and toured the PSU Esports Studio - Phuket at Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus.

On this occasion, Dr. Wasimon Panichpattanakul, Assistant Dean for Student Admission and International Activities, gave a presentation about the academic programs and study opportunities at the College of Computing. Following this, Mr. Chanachai Siriphunwaraphon, Manager of PSU Esports Studio - Phuket, welcomed the visitors and introduced the studio’s objectives, equipment, and technologies.

The students also had hands-on experiences at various gaming stations in the studio, such as the PlayStation 5 Station, Nintendo Switch Station, VR Station, and Cockpit Station. These activities broadened their perspectives and inspired those interested in esports and gaming technology.
