เมื่อวันที่ 24 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ได้ลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ ด้านวิชาการและการใช้พื้นที่จัดกิจกรรมร่วมกับ บริษัท บีทีซี สเปซ จำกัด ผู้ให้บริการพื้นที่โคเวิร์คกิ้งและสำนักงานให้เช่าชั้นนำของภูเก็ต เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และพัฒนาศักยภาพของนักศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล

ในพิธีลงนามครั้งนี้ มีผู้บริหารและตัวแทนจากทั้งสององค์กรเข้าร่วมอย่างเป็นทางการ โดยในฝ่ายมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต นำโดย รศ.ดร.พันธ์ ทองชุมนุม รองอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต, รศ.ดร.อซีส นันทอมรพงศ์ คณบดีวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์, ผศ.ดร.ณัฐพงศ์ ทองเทพ รองคณบดีฝ่ายกิจการพิเศษและวิเทศสัมพันธ์ วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ และ คุณชนะชัย สิริพันธ์วราภรณ์ ผู้จัดการโครงการศูนย์พัฒนาการเรียนรู้ด้านอีสปอร์ตเพื่อความเป็นเลิศและขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจในพื้นที่ภาคใต้ จังหวัดภูเก็ต (PSU Esports Studio - Phuket)

ความร่วมมือครั้งสำคัญนี้ครอบคลุมระยะเวลา 3 ปี (2568 - 2571) โดยมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาใน 3 ด้านหลัก ได้แก่:

ความร่วมมือทางการศึกษา – สนับสนุนกิจกรรมทางการศึกษาของนักศึกษา โดยเปิดโอกาสให้จัดกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย สร้างสรรค์ และแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ทางวิชาการ รวมถึงใช้สื่อประชาสัมพันธ์เพื่อเผยแพร่ข้อมูลและส่งเสริมภาพลักษณ์ที่ดี

สนับสนุนกิจกรรม Esports – เปิดพื้นที่บริษัทสำหรับจัดกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ Esports พร้อมส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาในบทบาทต่าง ๆ เช่น ผู้ให้ความรู้และผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม

โอกาสฝึกงาน – เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาฝึกงานในตำแหน่งที่สอดคล้องกับสาขาวิชา เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะและเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการทำงานในอนาคต

รศ.ดร.พันธ์ ทองชุมนุม ได้กล่าวในพิธีว่า ความร่วมมือกับ BTC Space ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำด้านพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์และเทคโนโลยีของภูเก็ต ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการพัฒนาศักยภาพของนักศึกษา เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้มีบทบาททั้งในฐานะผู้ให้ความรู้และผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ซึ่งจะช่วยส่งเสริมประสบการณ์จริงและการเรียนรู้ในสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง อีกทั้งยังเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษา โดยมุ่งหวังให้ภูเก็ตเป็นศูนย์กลางการเรียนรู้และสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมด้าน Esports และเทคโนโลยีของภาคใต้

คุณปุณยวีร์ บัวประดิษฐ์ กรรมการผู้จัดการบริษัท บีทีซี สเปซ จำกัด กล่าวเสริมว่า บริษัทมีความยินดีที่ได้ร่วมเป็นพันธมิตรกับมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ในการสนับสนุนโครงการด้านอีสปอร์ตและการพัฒนานักศึกษา โดยมุ่งหวังให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ และร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์โครงการที่มีคุณค่าในอนาคต

พิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการและการใช้พื้นที่จัดกิจกรรมเพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพนักศึกษา ระหว่าง มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต และ บริษัท บีทีซี สเปซ จํากัด จัดขึ้น ณ ศูนย์พัฒนาการเรียนรู้ด้านอีสปอร์ตเพื่อความเป็นเลิศและขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ (PSU Esports Studio - Phuket) มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ซึ่งเป็นศูนย์พัฒนาการเรียนรู้ผ่านเกมและอีสปอร์ต ที่ก่อตั้งโดยมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ และดำเนินการโดย วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ เพื่อยกระดับการศึกษาและความเป็นเลิศในด้านอีสปอร์ต ด้วยสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก และอุปกรณ์ที่ช่วยเสริมสร้างพลังในการเรียนรู้ให้กับนักเล่นเกม นักศึกษา และผู้สนใจ

On February 24, 2025, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, signed an academic and activity space collaboration agreement with BTC Space Co., Ltd., a leading provider of coworking spaces, office rentals, and innovative event venues in Phuket. to promote learning and enhance students' potential in the digital era.

The signing ceremony was attended by executives and representatives from both organizations. Leading the delegation from Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President of PSU Phuket Campus; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornphong, Dean of the College of Computing; Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapong Tongtep, Associate Dean for Special Affairs and International Relations, College of Computing; and Khun Chanachai Siriphunwaraphon, Manager of the PSU Esports Studio - Phuket.

Representing BTC Space Co., Ltd. were Khun Poonyawee Buapradit, Managing Director; Khun Kiatsin Pathanapongpakdee, Exclusive Producer; Khun Orakod Kungwankeadtikun, Assistant to Managing Director; Khun Apeesada Pattarapakorn, BTC Manager; Khun Rattanaporn Vongjina, Marketing Manager; Khun Pipat Chotevisarnsak, Marketing Specialist; Khun Pattarinrada Boonsong, Sales Executive; and Khun Ruangchai Ruangyangmi, Project Consultant​.

This significant collaboration spans a period of three years (2025–2028) and focuses on three key areas:

Educational Collaboration – Supporting student educational activities by providing opportunities for diverse, creative, and knowledge-exchange events. Additionally, promotional media will be utilized to disseminate information and enhance a positive image.

Esports Activities Support – Allocating company space for Esports-related activities while fostering collaboration between faculty members and students in various roles, such as educators and participants.

Internship Opportunities – Offering students internships in positions relevant to their fields of study to develop their skills and prepare them for future careers.

During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum stated that the collaboration with BTC Space, a leading creative and technology space provider in Phuket, marks a significant step in student development. This initiative offers students opportunities to engage as both knowledge providers and participants, enhancing their real-world experience and academic learning. Additionally, it serves as a key mechanism for improving educational quality, with the ultimate goal of positioning Phuket as a hub for esports and technology innovation in Southern Thailand.

Khun Poonyawee Buapradit, Managing Director of BTC Space Co., Ltd., expressed her enthusiasm for partnering with Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, in supporting esports and student development initiatives. She emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange and the joint creation of valuable projects for the future.

The signing ceremony for the academic and activity space collaboration agreement between Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, and BTC Space Co., Ltd. took place at the PSU Esports Studio - Phuket. This learning and esports development center, established by Prince of Songkla University and operated by the College of Computing, aims to elevate education and esports excellence. With state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, it provides a dynamic learning environment for gamers, students, and enthusiasts alike.
