เมื่อวันที่ 17 กรกฎาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา เอกอัครราชทูตอังกฤษประจำประเทศไทย Mr.Mark Gooding เข้าเยี่ยมชม PSU Esports Studio - Phuket ณ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต

ในการนี้ นายชนะชัย สิริพันธ์วราภรณ์ ผู้จัดการศูนย์ฯ ให้การต้อนรับ พร้อมนำเสนอวัตถุประสงค์ในการจัดตั้ง PSU Esports Studio แนะนำอุปกรณ์และเทคโนโลยีที่ใช้ในศูนย์ฯ ตลอดจนภาพรวมของโครงการและกิจกรรมด้านอีสปอร์ตที่ดำเนินการมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ในโอกาสเดียวกัน ท่านเอกอัครราชทูตยังได้ชมการแข่งขันเกม Tekken 8 รอบคัดเลือก รายการ “PSU Esports ปะทะมันส์ สนั่นจอ” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายในศูนย์ฯ โดยมีนักศึกษาเข้าร่วมแข่งขันอย่างคึกคัก สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของศูนย์ฯ ในการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และพัฒนาทักษะผ่านกีฬาอีสปอร์ตอย่างสร้างสรรค์

On July 17, 2025, the British Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Mark Gooding, visited the PSU Esports Studio - Phuket at Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus.

Mr. Chanachai Siriphunwaraphon, the manager of the studio, warmly welcomed the ambassador and presented the objectives behind the establishment of the PSU Esports Studio - Phuket. He also introduced the equipment and technologies used in the studio, along with an overview of the ongoing projects and esports-related activities.

During the visit, the ambassador had the opportunity to watch a qualifying round of the Tekken 8 tournament, “PSU Esports ปะทะมันส์ สนั่นจอ” held at the studio. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, highlighting the studio’s role in promoting learning and skill development through creative engagement with esports.
